For over 50 years Atkinsons have been selling fencing and timber products and have gained a reputation for the quality and reliability of their range.
From humble beginnings - founder George Atkinson actually began by selling firewood! - Atkinsons has grown into a high-tech manufacturing and service organisation using the latest cutting equipment and employing a workforce of up to 100.
From firewood and simple fences Atkinsons have developed their range to incorporate a vast array of fence styles, as well as trellising, gates, pergolas and decking.
Erecting the fence
As part of the provision, Atkinsons offer a fence erecting service, and currently set upwards of 60,000 fence posts every year. For many customers this special skill is a vital part of the service, and Atkinsons experienced team can survey, plan, recommened and then erect the fencing to suit individual customer requirements.
Protecting the environment
To help conserve resources and protect the environment Atkinsons ensure that hardly a single wood chip is wasted - all the sawdust, wood chips and bark peelings are bagged and turned into attractive garden supplies - and as many used products as possible are salvaged and recycled.
